An exceptional long exotic hardwood board featuring a rich golden-orange to warm amber coloration and a remarkably distinctive grain pattern.
What immediately sets this piece apart is the large flowing light-colored figure running across the upper face, creating an almost contour-like pattern in the grain. A small natural “eye” appears near the center, while the lower portion develops additional sweeping curves and tightly moving grain.
The combination of these features gives this board a very recognizable signature appearance rather than the uniform look normally associated with standard dimensional lumber.
This is also an unusually dense and hard piece for its dimensions. Its golden coloration and general appearance can be reminiscent of teak-type tropical hardwoods, although the exact species is not confirmed.

Une superbe longue planche de bois exotique présentant une riche coloration orange doré à ambrée et surtout un dessin de grain particulièrement distinctif.
La caractéristique la plus spectaculaire est la grande figure claire et sinueuse qui traverse la partie supérieure de la face, formant presque des lignes de contour naturelles dans le bois. Un petit « œil » naturel apparaît près du centre, tandis que la partie inférieure développe de nouvelles courbes accompagnées d’un grain serré et très mouvementé.
L’ensemble donne à cette planche une véritable apparence signature, très différente d’une simple planche de bois dimensionné au grain uniforme.
